On the left side is the joystick that allows you to walk and on the right are the attack and defense buttons. You can tap on the attack buttons at the same time to activate combos and create greater damage against your enemies.
Speaking of enemies, you will come across them as you walk through the city. They will mostly attack in groups, so be prepared to throw nonstop punches and kicks. You can instill damage to multiple enemies if you hit them simultaneously. Moreover, you can grab and use weapons that criminals drop after knocking them down. However, these weapons will not last the entire round.
The controls are smooth and have no delay, but the actions you can do are limited. You can't run, which makes it difficult to put distance between you and your enemies when you need to take a break. You also can't dodge their attacks by rolling or stepping out of the way either. Walking away, jumping, and shielding yourself with your arms are the only ways you can defend yourself.
